Welcome to our first newsletter of 2016 and I hope the year has got off to a good start for you. With snowdrops appearing at Gunby Hall on 5th January and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust's first lamb of the year having been born on 7th January, one could be forgiven for thinking Spring is already here. There's so much going on in our area for our guests to look forward to this year (see below) and we've held our 2015 tariff for 2016 making your holiday with us even better value!
It's well known we are within easy reach of the award winning, golden-sanded coastal resorts of Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea and that Louth, the capital of the Wolds, is under half an hour away. But did you know Lincoln and Hull - that feature in The Telegraph's UK 10 Best City Breaks - are within commutable distance for a day trip, whilst you're staying with us too? Hull has also been named by the Rough Guide as one of the world's top 10 cities to visit in 2016, for its eight excellent museums, picturesque Old Town with cobbled streets and old-timey pubs. Hull will also take on the mantle as UK's City of Culture in 2017.
