Launched in 2005, the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival is the largest of its kind on the UK Mainland, with some walks suitable for wheelchairs and families, from tinies in pushchairs to teenagers.  Walks range from an hour-long town tour to a rigorous ramble taking up to 4 days!  Taking part is a great way to discover new places and learn new things.  This year it will be held 16th-31st May 2015.  For further details see http://www.woldswalkingfestival.co.uk

If you're a keen cyclist, who likes miles and a whole day out, why not consider the Louth Meridian Sportif on 10th May 2015, with four distance options ranging from 12 to 85 miles?  Starting in the picturesque town of Louth, just 25 minutes away from our cottages, the routes take in some of the UK's quietest roads on the eastern side of the Lincolnshire Wolds.  For further details see
